Pages are the site. Each is built from a template and filled with blocks and content.
Creating one
- Choose a template — the layout the page uses. The template preview shows what you are picking.
- Give it a name and its address on the site.
- Add the content.
- Decide whether tribes or team members may customise it.
Cloning
Cloning an existing page is usually quicker than starting again — the layout, blocks and structure come with it and you replace the words. It is also how you keep a set of service pages consistent with each other.
Order
Pages can be sorted, which affects where they appear in listings and menus. Put the pages customers actually want first — that is rarely the order they were built in.
DELETING A PAGE BREAKS ITS LINKS
Anything pointing at it — a search result, another page, a printed leaflet — stops working. If a page is being retired, set up a redirect to whatever replaces it before deleting.
