Drop images onto the upload area or click to browse. Only image files are accepted — a PDF or a document will be refused.
What to fill in
| Field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Name | What people search for. Leave it blank on a bulk upload and the file names are used — which is fine if your files are named sensibly and useless if they are DSC_4471. |
| Media category | Where it is filed. |
| Tags | How it is found by anyone who does not know its name. |
| Description | Context — where it was taken, what it shows, what it is for. |
| Product, range or product category | Ties the image to what you sell, so it can be found from there. |
Preparing the file
- Upload the largest good version you have. The library makes the smaller sizes; it cannot invent detail that was never there.
- Use PNG for logos and anything with transparency, and pick the original size when you use it.
- Name files before uploading a batch — it is far quicker than renaming fifty afterwards.
- Check you are allowed to use it. A photo from a supplier or the web may not be yours to publish.
