My Projects: working on a project you have been added to

The view a contributor gets, what you can do there, and how it differs from running the project.

Last updated September 2, 2026

If you have been added to a project, My Projects is your view of it. It lists the projects you are on and nothing else.

What you get

SectionWhat you can do
OverviewSee what the project is, its dates and its status.
ScopeRead what the project covers and excludes.
TasksSee what is outstanding, and mark your own work done.
NotesRead the decisions, and add your own.
Known issuesThe constraints you need to work around.
Files and linksThe documents and sites the project uses.

For external collaborators

If you were invited from outside the business, this is all you see. You have no access to the organisation's customers, sales or anything else — only the projects you were added to.

Getting the most out of it

  • Mark tasks done as you finish them, so nobody has to ask.
  • Read the known issues before starting — they are there because somebody already hit them.
  • Put questions in the notes rather than in email, so the answer stays with the project.
