The store dashboard
Where your store sales totals come from, how online and branded store sales are kept apart, and why the dashboard and your sales reports can differ.

Select Online Store in the left-hand menu, then Store Dashboard. It gives you the totals your shops have taken, this year against last year, so you can see whether online selling is growing.
Online Store Sales and Branded Store Sales are shown separately, because they are different businesses. Public shop sales and a client's staff ordering their uniforms behave nothing alike, and adding them together produces a number that tells you very little.
Why this does not match your sales reports
The Store Dashboard counts what your shops sold. The Sales Reports section counts what your business sold, from every source — the point of sale, your accounting system, orders taken over the counter — and store orders are only one part of that. The two are measuring different things and are not expected to agree.
Where a store order also exists in your accounting system, the External ID on the order is what stops it being counted twice. The guide on why two sales numbers do not match explains this in more detail.
