CRM Companies
Changing many companies at once
The bulk update dialog: what it can change, what it leaves alone, and how to use it without breaking a hundred records.
Last updated September 2, 2026
Filter the companies list, tick the rows, and update them all in one step. It is how a patch gets reassigned, how an imported batch gets its lead source, and how a stage gets corrected across a set of accounts.
What you can set
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Assigned To | Leave it empty to unassign every selected account. |
| Lead Source | Leave it empty to clear it. |
| Lifecycle stage / status | Applied to every selected account, so check the selection first. |
| Add to a call list | Accounts already on the list are skipped rather than duplicated. |
Fields you leave alone are not touched. Only what you set is written, which is what makes it safe to use for one field across a large selection.
Working safely
- Filter first, and read the count. The number of selected rows is the number of records you are about to change.
- Try it on two or three rows before the whole list.
- Change one field at a time, so a mistake is one thing to put back.
