What Software Integrations does
Connecting Gorilla Dash to the other systems your network runs, the difference between an organisation and a tribe connection, and what you can expect a connection to do.

Almost no network runs on Gorilla Dash alone. There is usually a point of sale at the counter, an ordering platform taking web orders, a reviews service, perhaps a separate CRM head office inherited. Software Integrations is where Gorilla Dash is connected to those systems so that information moves between them instead of being typed twice.
Select Software Integrations in the left-hand menu. You will see a card for each system available to your network, showing whether it is connected and what it is for.
What a connection actually does
It depends entirely on the system. Broadly, integrations in Gorilla Dash do one of three things.

| Brings sales in | A point of sale or ordering platform sends its orders to Gorilla Dash, so your sales reports cover what was actually sold rather than what somebody remembered to enter. |
| Brings customers in | The same systems often carry customer records, which become people in Gorilla Dash so your marketing can reach them. |
| Sends information out | An enquiry or a lead is pushed into another system that a team is already working in. |
What arrives from an integration is covered by the guides for the thing it feeds. Sales that come in through a point of sale connection behave like any other sale, so the Sales Reporting guides apply; customers that come in behave like any other contact.
Organisation or tribe
Some systems are connected once for the whole organisation. Others have to be connected per tribe, because each tribe has its own account with the provider — a point of sale is the obvious case, since every tribe has its own till and its own credentials.
The screen tells you which kind you are looking at. A tribe-level integration is reached from the tribe's own Software Integrations screen, and connecting it at organisation level is not possible even where the card appears there.
Who can change them
Connecting and disconnecting are administrative actions, because a connection carries credentials and decides where your data goes. Removing one stops the flow immediately; it does not remove anything that has already arrived.
