Reading survey results
Charts, AI sentiment and themes, exporting, and the response-rate figure that is not there.

Open a survey's report and you get two tabs — Analytics and Responses — plus an Export button.
The headline numbers
| Tile | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Responses | Completed submissions. |
| AI sentiment score | An overall score out of 100 read from the written answers. |
| Text answers analysed | How many free-text answers the AI has read. |
Sentiment and themes
Written answers are read automatically and classified as Positive, Neutral, Negative or Mixed, with a short summary and the themes people keep raising. Top themes is usually the most actionable thing on the page — it tells you what customers are talking about without anybody reading five hundred comments.
A survey with no free-text question produces no sentiment at all. If you want this, ask at least one open question.
Charts
One bar chart per question you marked Show in charts, with the average and the number of answers. Text questions are never charted — that is by design.
There is no response rate
Individual responses
The Responses tab lists each submission with the customer, their email and their sentiment — anonymous public submissions show as Anonymous. Expand a row for the sentiment summary and every answer. Read the negative ones individually; that is where the money is.
Exporting
Export downloads a spreadsheet with the tribe, name, email, business name, submission time and a column per question.
Responses reach the rest of Gorilla Dash
Submitting a survey updates the contact and can be used as a customer bucket rule — Submitted Survey — so you can build an automation for everybody who responded, or chase everybody who did not.
