Network Posting
Working with posts sent to your tribe
What a tribe sees when head office sends a post, what to do with it, and posting your own alongside.
Last updated September 2, 2026
Posts sent down from your organisation appear in your own social media list and calendar, marked as organisation posts. They sit alongside anything you have written yourself.
What to do with one
- Read the message to tribes — it says what the post is and whether you may change it.
- Check the date against what you already have scheduled, so you are not posting twice in an hour.
- If you can edit it, add whatever makes it local — your address, your times, your team.
- Make sure your channels are connected, or it will not go out from your pages.
If you do not want it
Where the post allows tribes to opt out, remove it before its date. Where it requires you to opt in, it does nothing until you accept it — so a post you ignore is a post that never publishes.
Your own posts still matter
Network content keeps your pages ticking over; local content is what people actually engage with. A photo of your team, your premises or a job you have just finished will nearly always outperform anything sent from head office.
