Compliance For Tribes
Completing a checklist or self-assessment
Working through a check on your tribe: the answer types, photographs an item may require, saving progress, submitting, and what happens if it comes back.

A checklist is a short list your tribe works through on a schedule — an opening checklist every morning, a closing checklist every night. A self-assessment is a longer review your tribe completes about itself, usually quarterly, that your advisor then reads. Both are filled in the same way.
Open one from the To do page, or from Checklists or Self-assessments in the Compliance menu. Each of those pages lists every check of that kind for your tribe, including the ones already done, so you can look back at last week's.
Working through it
A check is split into sections, shown as tabs across the top — Front of house, Kitchen, and so on — and a bar shows how many items you have answered. Work down the section, then press Next section. Pressing it saves what you have entered so far.
| Kind of item | What to do |
|---|---|
| Pass / Fail / N/A | Choose one. N/A means the item does not apply today, and it is left out of any score rather than counted against you. |
| Yes / No | A switch. |
| A score | Enter the points out of the number shown. |
| A number | A reading, such as a fridge temperature. |
| Text | Type what you saw or did. |
| Add photo | Take or choose a photograph. Some items say Required beside the button; those cannot be submitted without one. |
A photograph you have just added can be removed again while the check is still open. Once the check is submitted the evidence stays with it.
Saving and submitting
Press Save progress at any time to keep what you have entered without handing it in. You can close the page and come back later; the check stays in your To do as In progress.
On the last section there is a box for Notes for your advisor. Use it for anything the items did not cover — a supplier problem, something you need help with. Then press Submit and confirm. Submitting hands the check to your franchisor and locks the answers; you cannot edit it afterwards.
If it comes back
Your advisor reviews a submitted self-assessment. If they return it, the check reappears in your To do with the status Returned, and their reason is shown at the top of the page. Make the changes they asked for and submit again.
Once a check is approved, the page becomes the report: every item with a tick, a cross or a dash, your photographs, and — if your franchisor shares it — the score. When the score is not shared you still see whether the check passed.
