Pushing a campaign to your tribes

Building one campaign centrally and letting every tribe send it to their own customers.

Last updated September 2, 2026

Head office writes one campaign; every tribe sends it to their own customers, from their own name. Push Campaign To Tribes is how — the alternative is forty tribes each rebuilding the same email.

How it works

  1. Build the campaign at organisation level and get it right.
  2. Choose Push To Tribes and select the tribes.
  3. Write a message to tribes — what this is, and what you want them to do with it.
  4. Each tribe gets its own copy of the campaign, against its own customers.

Write the message to tribes properly

It is the only context a tribe gets. Say what the campaign is, when you would like it sent, and whether they may change it. Two sentences turn a mysterious draft into something people act on.

A PUSHED CAMPAIGN IS NOT A SENT CAMPAIGN
Each tribe still has to send their copy. If a network campaign got poor reach, check how many tribes actually sent before concluding the email was wrong.

Getting it right first

Fix everything before pushing. Once copies are with the tribes, a correction means going round every tribe — so test, read it on a phone, and check the links before you push, not after.
