The content that brings people to the site, and how to produce it without it becoming a chore nobody does.

Pages describe what you do. Articles, case studies and FAQs are what bring strangers to the site in the first place, because they answer questions people are already searching for.

TypeBest for
Blog articlesAnswering the questions customers ask before they buy.
Case studiesShowing what you actually did, for a customer like the reader.
FAQsThe questions your team answers on the phone every week.

Where to get the material

You already have it. The questions in your enquiry forms, the things your support tickets keep asking, the job the team was proud of last month — each is an article that writes itself, and each is a real search somebody is making.

Case studies that work

  • Photographs of the actual job. Nothing else persuades like it.
  • The problem, then what you did. A gallery with no story is a gallery.
  • Name the location. "A shopfront in Leeds" is worth far more to a Leeds customer than "a retail client".
  • A sentence from the customer, if you can get one.

FAQs earn their keep twice

A good FAQ answers a searcher and saves your team a phone call. It also gives the website chatbot something accurate to answer with — the FAQ list is part of what it reads.

A DEAD BLOG IS WORSE THAN NO BLOG
