Every tile on the CRM dashboard, what it counts, and what to do about it.

Last updated September 2, 2026

The dashboard is the first screen in the CRM and it is built to be read in about ten seconds: what is in play, and what needs doing before lunch.

The tiles

TileWhat it counts
Open Pipeline ValueThe total value of opportunities still open. Won and lost deals are not in it.
Tasks Due TodayTasks dated today, for whoever the view covers.
Overdue TasksTasks whose date has passed and are not done. The number to keep at zero.
Calls Due TodayCallbacks booked for today, plus any that were missed.
Calls This WeekCallbacks booked over the next seven days.

In a tribe these count that tribe. At organisation level they count every tribe, which is why the pipeline figure is so much larger there.

The pipeline funnel

The funnel shows how open opportunities are spread across your stages. A healthy one narrows steadily. The shapes worth acting on are the two that don't.

  • Bulging in the middle — deals reach a stage and stop. Usually a step nobody owns, like a quote that never gets sent.
  • Empty at the top — nothing new is coming in. Today's pipeline still looks fine; in two months it will not.

If the funnel says there is no data, there are no open opportunities with a stage — not that something is broken.

Opportunities closing soon

The deals with the nearest expected close dates, so the ones about to land — or about to slip — are in front of you. It is only as useful as your close dates are honest: a pipeline full of dates from last quarter tells you nothing.

The period picker

The pipeline charts can be shown for this quarter or last quarter. The tiles above them are always live — today's tasks are today's tasks whatever period you pick.

AN EMPTY DASHBOARD IS USUALLY AN ASSIGNMENT PROBLEM
If a rep says their dashboard is blank, check the work is assigned to them rather than sitting unassigned on the tribe. Unassigned tasks and opportunities are real, but nobody sees them on a personal dashboard.
