A coupon is a code a customer types at checkout on a Customer Ordering Portal. You control what it is worth, when it runs, how many times it can be used, and which locations honour it.
Creating a coupon
Go to Food → Coupons and click Create Coupon.
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Coupon Name | Your name for it, shown in the list. |
| Coupon Code | What the customer types. Keep it short and unambiguous — no mixing O and 0. |
| Coupon Type | Amount Discount (a fixed sum off), Percent Discount (a share off), or Free Menu Item (choose the item under Select Menu Item). |
| Start Date / End Date | The window it works in. Tick No end date for an open-ended code. |
| Total Coupons | How many times it can be redeemed in total, or Total Unlimited. |
| Maximum per Customer | How many times one customer (by email) may use it, or Customer Unlimited. |
| Minimum Spend | The cart total needed before the code applies. |
| Tribes | The locations that honour it. Leave empty for every location. |
| Status | Active for live; Paused to stop it without deleting it. |
The Coupons list shows how many times each code has been Redeemed. Pausing a code keeps that history; deleting it does not.
