Modifier groups and modifiers
The choices a customer makes on a dish — a group is the question, its modifiers are the answers. Minimums, maximums, quantities and extra prices.

Most dishes come with choices: which bread, how many sides, any add-ons. In Gorilla Dash those choices are modifier groups. A group is the question the customer is asked — "Choose your bread" — and the modifiers inside it are the answers, each with an optional extra price. You build a group once under Food → Menu Modifiers and attach it to every menu item that asks that question.
On the ordering portal the customer sees, for one board, something like this:

Creating a modifier group
- Go to Food → Menu Modifiers and click Create Modifier.
- Enter the Name — your internal name, and what the Modifier Name column on the list shows — and the Label for Customers, which is the question they read.
- Set Minimum Selection and Maximum Selection, or tick No Minimum / No Maximum. Minimum 1 makes the choice compulsory; maximum 1 makes it a pick-one.
- Tick Enable Quantity if a customer may take more than one of the same modifier — three extra prosciutto, say.
- Under Modifier Values, add each modifier: its Label, its extra Price (leave 0 for no charge) and, if you record recipes, Link to Product with a Quantity, so the add-on names the product it represents.
- Save, then attach the group to menu items under Modifiers on each item.
Modifiers and the platforms
