Ordering locations and what happens to an order
Which tribes fulfil a portal's orders, pickup and delivery, pickup times from opening hours, and where the order lands once a customer pays.

A portal shows a menu; an ordering location is the tribe that actually makes the order. A portal can have one location or many — a national catering portal lists every location, a private client portal lists the one location that serves them. The customer picks the location, and the order goes to that tribe.
Adding a location
Open the portal, go to Ordering Locations and click Create Location.

Pickup times
The times a customer can choose are offered in 15-minute steps, and the assigned tribe's store settings decide what they run between. With Only deliver during opening hours ticked, the times follow that tribe's opening hours for the day — including any custom hours set for that date — and stop 15 minutes before closing. Left unticked, times run through to the end of the day regardless of opening hours. Minimum preparation time, also in store settings, pushes the first slot forward by that many minutes.
What happens when a customer orders
- The customer chooses a location, picks items and their modifiers, enters a coupon if they have one, and chooses pickup or delivery with a date and time.
- They pay through your organisation's payment provider.
- The order is created against the assigned tribe as a store order, with the customer's details, the fulfilment choice, and the items and modifiers as ordered.
- The tribe works the order from its orders list like any other store order.
