Linking Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google and Yelp to Gorilla Dash, and the two steps every connection takes.

Connecting a social account lets Gorilla Dash publish to your pages and bring your reviews and engagement back in. Open My AccountMy Social Media Accounts.

It is always two steps

StepWhat happens
1. Connect your accountYou sign in to the platform and approve Gorilla Dash. This connects you.
2. Link your pagesYou choose which of the pages that account manages should be used, and for which organisation or tribe.
STEP ONE ON ITS OWN PUBLISHES NOTHING
A connected account with no pages linked is the single most common "connected but not working" case. Finish step two — the screen shows "no pages linked yet" until you do.

What you can connect

  • Facebook — the pages your account manages.
  • Instagram — a professional account linked to a Facebook page.
  • LinkedIn — company pages, and your personal profile separately.
  • Google — your Business Profile, for posts and reviews.
  • Yelp — for reviews.

Before you connect

  1. Sign in to the platform in the same browser as the account that actually manages the pages — connecting with a personal account that has no page access is the usual dead end.
  2. Check you have an admin role on the page there. Gorilla Dash cannot be given more access than you have.
  3. Approve every permission it asks for. Skipping one usually removes the ability to publish.

The connection belongs to you as a person. If you leave the business, somebody else needs to connect their own account — which is why it is worth more than one person connecting.
