Tribe email sending domains policy
Each tribe must use its own email sending domain and must not use the organisation domain. Domains are managed by the UFG team; do not change tribe custom domains without their approval.

This article relates to UFG Franchises. The article clarifies the policy for email sending domains at the tribe level and what happens if a tribe does not add a custom domain.
Policy
- Each tribe must have its own sending domain.
- Do not add a tribe custom domain that is the same as the organisation domain.
- Tribe sending domains are managed by the UFG team. Do not modify tribe custom domains without consulting the designated UFG contacts.
Default behaviour
- If a tribe does not add a custom domain, it will default to using the organisation domain for sending. This default is not compliant with policy; request a tribe-specific sending domain instead.
Troubleshooting notes
- If domain verification is delayed or failing for a tribe, confirm the domain you are trying to add is not the organisation domain. Use a unique, tribe-specific sending domain and coordinate with UFG.
Where to check status
- A full list of sending domains and their current status is available on the internal Domain Summary page.
