Overview

Gorilla Dash has three email-related fields that serve different purposes. To change who receives website enquiries, update the Notification email address.

What each field does

  • Email sending address: Used for sending emails (e.g., campaigns) from the platform.
  • Public email address: Sometimes displayed on the public website or anywhere a contact email needs to be shown. Many brands do not use this field.
  • Notification email address: Used for notifications such as website enquiries.

Change where website enquiries are sent

  1. Go to the Notifications tab.
  2. Update the Notification email address.

This field was recently moved from the About tab to the Notifications tab.

How enquiry routing is determined

Enquiry notifications are sent to the Notification email of the office/location whose website page the visitor was on when they submitted the form (for example, Contact Us, Seller Registration, or Valuation/Calculator). Routing is not based on any ZIP code the visitor typed into the form.

Verify where an enquiry came from

Open the enquiry and check the source page URL shown in the record. The location/site in the URL (and its parameters) indicates which office page captured the form. This is the destination office for the notification email.

Listing enquiries

Visitors can view listings from any location site. The listings page can show only that location’s listings or All listings, and visitors can switch between these views. For listings that are not under NDA, enquiries submitted from the website are sent to the Notification email of the location site the visitor was on, which can result in enquiries about an out‑of‑area listing going to a different office.

When something looks wrong

If the source URL clearly shows a different office than the one that received the notification, contact support so we can review the enquiry and its URL parameters for any routing anomalies.

FAQ

Does changing the Public Email Address affect website enquiries?

No—website enquiry notifications use the Notification email address only.

Other notifications you can customise

In the same Notifications tab, you can also customise recipients for email campaign and social media campaign notifications.
