CRM Call Lists

Follow-ups and callbacks

Booking the next step from a call, working the follow-ups list, and why a callback is the most valuable thing a session produces.

Last updated September 2, 2026

Most calls do not end in a yes. The good ones end in a time — a callback, a meeting, or a task. That is what a session is actually producing.

Booking from the call

The call screen offers quick options — in an hour, in a couple of days, next week — or a date and time you choose. It books against the contact, so it shows on their record and on the dashboard as a call due, not only inside the list.

The follow-ups list

Each call list keeps its own follow-ups: the callbacks and opportunities booked out of it. Work that list before starting fresh calls — a booked callback is a warm conversation and a cold list is not.

A lead showing no follow-up is one nobody promised anything to. That is fine after a "not interested"; it is a gap after an "interested".

A CALLBACK IS A PROMISE
You told a customer you would ring at a time. Missing it costs more goodwill than the original call ever earned — check Calls Due Today before you start a new session.

Already booked

The call screen tells you when a lead already has a callback booked, so two reps on the same list do not both ring the same person. If you see it, move on — it is somebody else's conversation.
