What each post status means
Draft, pending, processing, finished and error — on the post and on each individual channel.

A post has a status, and so does each channel within it. That is why a post can be finished overall while one platform failed.
The post
| Status | Means |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved, not scheduled. It will never publish on its own. |
| Pending | Scheduled and waiting for its time. |
| Processing | Being published right now. |
| Finished / Completed | Publishing has run. |
| Error | Something went wrong — open the post to see which channel. |
Each channel
| Status | Means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Waiting to be sent to this platform. |
| Processing | Being sent now. |
| Success | The platform accepted it. |
| Error | The platform rejected it. The reason is recorded against the post. |
| Skip | Not sent to this channel — usually because it was not selected or not available. |
READ THE CHANNEL, NOT JUST THE POST
A post that says finished with one channel in error has published to some of your audience and not the rest. The channel row is where the truth is.
Stuck on processing
Publishing is queued rather than instant, so processing for a minute or two is normal — video takes longer than text. Something still processing hours later has a problem worth reporting.
