Scheduling & Publishing

What each post status means

Draft, pending, processing, finished and error — on the post and on each individual channel.

Last updated September 2, 2026

A post has a status, and so does each channel within it. That is why a post can be finished overall while one platform failed.

The post

StatusMeans
DraftSaved, not scheduled. It will never publish on its own.
PendingScheduled and waiting for its time.
ProcessingBeing published right now.
Finished / CompletedPublishing has run.
ErrorSomething went wrong — open the post to see which channel.

Each channel

StatusMeans
PendingWaiting to be sent to this platform.
ProcessingBeing sent now.
SuccessThe platform accepted it.
ErrorThe platform rejected it. The reason is recorded against the post.
SkipNot sent to this channel — usually because it was not selected or not available.
READ THE CHANNEL, NOT JUST THE POST
A post that says finished with one channel in error has published to some of your audience and not the rest. The channel row is where the truth is.

Stuck on processing

Publishing is queued rather than instant, so processing for a minute or two is normal — video takes longer than text. Something still processing hours later has a problem worth reporting.
