Understanding Your Bill
When you get billed
The monthly cycle, why usage arrives a month later, and when reminders go out.
Last updated September 2, 2026
Billing runs to a fixed monthly calendar. Knowing it explains why a charge you expected has not appeared yet.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1st of the month | Phone number rental and branded store fees are recorded for the month. |
| 2nd | Last month's email sends are settled. |
| 3rd | Last month's metered usage is turned into charges. |
| 4th | Invoices are generated and emailed. Automatic payments are taken. |
| 15th and 25th | Overdue reminders go out. |
Subscription charges accrue continuously through the month and are swept onto the invoice on the 4th along with everything else.
Usage is always billed in arrears
Reminders
Where automated reminders are switched on, an account with an overdue invoice is emailed on the 15th and the 25th, at most once a week. The reminder counts only invoiced money — usage accruing this month does not make you overdue.
Invoices are emailed automatically
Each invoice is sent shortly after it is generated, with the PDF attached. Payment is due five days after the invoice date, and the email says so.
