Getting Media Out

Generating a PDF of images

Turning a selection into a document you can send a customer — the designs, the banner and the numbering.

Last updated September 2, 2026

Select a set of images and generate a PDF. It is how a rep sends a customer a set of examples, or how a range gets presented in a meeting, without anyone assembling a document by hand.

The two designs

DesignSuits
StandardSeveral images to a page — a range, a catalogue of options, a set of examples.
Full pageOne image per page. For photography that deserves the space, or anything being printed.

Making it look like yours

  • Set the PDF banner background once, in the library settings, and every document carries it.
  • Number each image where the customer will refer back to them — "we would like number 7" is a much easier conversation.
  • Names come from the image records, so a set with good names produces a document that reads properly.

Before you send it

Open the PDF and read it. Check the order makes sense, that nothing is cropped badly, and that every image in it is one you are happy to show a customer.

THE NAMES DO THE WORK
A PDF of pictures called IMG_2291 is a worse document than one with real names, however good the photography. Naming images properly pays off here more than anywhere.
