Enquiry Basics
Working the enquiry list
Filtering, assigning, and moving enquiries through your statuses.
Last updated September 2, 2026
The enquiry list is a work queue. Its job is to make sure nothing sits unanswered — which is the only thing that really matters about enquiry handling.
Narrowing it down
- Status — where it has got to.
- Assigned to, including unassigned — the one to check first.
- Form and type — which form it came from.
- Date range — today, this week, a period you pick.
- Tribe — at organisation level, which location it belongs to.
Assigning
Give every enquiry an owner. Assigning can move it to a different status automatically — see the statuses guide — so picking one up is a single action.
Reading the enquiry before you call
The detail shows every field they filled in, plus what you already know about them: previous estimates, previous sales, their lifecycle stage. Thirty seconds there turns a cold call into a conversation with a customer you recognise.
