Review links for a tribe

Google Place ID and the review URLs — two similar-looking fields with different jobs.

Getting reviews for the right tribe depends on two settings that look almost identical and are used by different parts of the product.

Google Place IDAbout tabReview request emails
Google Review URLSocial tabCustomer Surveys reputation routing
Facebook Review URLAbout and Social tabBoth
FILLING IN ONE DOES NOT COVER THE OTHER
A tribe with a Place ID but no Google Review URL will send review request emails correctly and then route happy survey respondents somewhere else. Set both on every tribe.

Finding your Place ID

The field has a link to Google's Place ID finder beside it. Search for the tribe as a customer would and copy the identifier it gives you. With it set, review requests open Google's write-a-review box for that exact tribe.

What happens without one

Review requests fall back to the organisation's Place ID, and then to Google's home page — which is the worst outcome, because the customer was willing to leave a review and now has nowhere to leave it. If your review numbers are poor at one tribe, check this field before anything else.

The Facebook link is the same field twice

Facebook Review URL appears on both the About and Social tabs and they are one setting — editing either changes both. That is not a bug, just a duplicate placement.

The rest of the Social tab

Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Yelp, TikTok and X profile links, plus Yelp's review URL. These are published to your website — they do not connect the accounts for posting. Connecting accounts is done under Social Connections.
