Website statistics
Connecting Google Analytics, what the dashboard shows, and reading it alongside your enquiries.
Last updated September 2, 2026
The website dashboard shows traffic — visits, page views, bounce rate — over periods from the last 7 days out to 36 months.
It needs Google Analytics connected
Statistics come from your Google Analytics account, so the dashboard asks you to connect it first and tells you when the connection has failed. If the numbers vanish, the connection is the first thing to check — not the website.
Read it next to enquiries
| Traffic | Enquiries | What it suggests |
|---|---|---|
| Up | Up | Working. Do more of whatever caused it. |
| Up | Flat | The wrong visitors, or a page that does not ask for the enquiry. |
| Flat | Down | Something changed on the site — a form, a phone number, a page. |
| Down | Down | A marketing or search problem upstream of the site. |
Bounce rate
A high bounce rate on a service page is worth looking at. On a page that answers a question completely — an FAQ, an opening hours page — it is perfectly healthy: they got what they came for.
