Going Live
Watching a workflow, and fixing one that is wrong
Reading what a workflow has done, checking it on a contact, and the usual causes when nothing is happening.

An automation runs quietly, which is the point and also the risk. The dashboard shows what your workflows are doing; a contact's own record shows what happened to them.
Checking one person
A contact's profile shows the automations they are in and what has been sent. When somebody says they got the wrong email, that timeline is the fastest answer — and usually shows they were enrolled by a trigger nobody expected.
Nothing is happening
| Check | Why |
|---|---|
| Is it live? | A draft or a workflow still in test mode sends nothing. |
| Does anybody meet the trigger? | A bucket with nobody in it enrols nobody. |
| Is the first step a long wait? | A seven-day wait looks like nothing for a week. |
| Are people being stopped immediately? | A stop condition that is too broad removes everyone on entry. |
| Are the recipients excluded? | Unsubscribed, bounced or marketing-off contacts are skipped like any other send. |
Too much is happening
- Check enroll once — without it, repeat triggers mean repeat sequences.
- Check the trigger's optional filter is not empty when you meant to narrow it.
- Check nobody backfilled it.
