Vendor administrators

The people at a vendor who can sign in and maintain the listing, inviting them, and removing them.

Last updated September 2, 2026

A vendor administrator is somebody at the supplier who can sign in and run their own listing — the profile, products, offers and announcements. They see their vendor and nothing else of yours.

Inviting one

Invite them by name and email address and they are sent an invitation. It can be resent if it goes astray, and an administrator can be detached when they leave the vendor.

Where a vendor has a primary contact, mark them as such — that is who gets chased when the listing goes stale or the subscription lapses.

Always invite two

ONE ADMINISTRATOR IS A SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE
The one person who had the login leaves the vendor, and their listing freezes — stale products, expired offers, and nobody able to fix it. Ask for a second administrator when they join, not when it becomes a problem.

Vendors with no administrator at all

Some vendors are managed by your own team instead. That is a decision worth making explicitly: somebody at your organisation then owns keeping the listing accurate, and it will go out of date if nobody does.
