Users & Access
Adding someone to your organisation
Inviting a new user, adding an administrator, and what happens when the address already has an account.
Last updated September 2, 2026
People are added from your organisation's team settings. Adding someone creates their account, gives them access, and emails them an invitation to set a password.
Adding an organisation user
- Choose Add Organisation User.
- Enter their name, email address and mobile number.
- Give them their roles — this is what decides what they can see and do.
- Save. The invitation goes out and you are told it has been sent.
Someone who should administer the whole organisation is added as an organisation administrator; somebody running one tribe is added as a tribe administrator on that tribe.
When the address already has an account
Email addresses identify people across the whole of Gorilla Dash, so somebody who already works with another organisation — an agency, a supplier, a manager covering two brands — already has an account. They are added to yours rather than given a second one, and they keep the password they already use.
Team members and users are not the same thing
A team member is a person on your organisation chart. A user is a login. Most staff need both, and they are linked together — a team member with no login cannot sign in, and is also the reason someone can be missing from CRM assignment lists.
