What the Weekly Digest is for

An internal newsletter to your network, assembled partly by hand and partly from what your tribes have been doing.

Last updated September 2, 2026

The Weekly Digest is a newsletter you send to your own people — franchisees, tribe managers, team members. It is not customer marketing. Think of it as the network bulletin.

A tribe is one location, branch or business unit inside your organisation — the word Gorilla Dash uses on every screen.

What goes in one

  • Articles you write — announcements, results, reminders, people news.
  • Our Work posts pulled automatically from what your tribes have published.
  • Five-star reviews pulled automatically, so good work gets seen.
  • An optional review leader board ranking your tribes.

The automatic parts are what make it sustainable — you write two or three articles and the rest assembles itself from the network's own activity.

You can have more than one

Each digest is its own newsletter with its own name, schedule, recipients and content rules. A weekly operations bulletin to managers and a monthly round-up to everybody are two digests, not one.

Where readers land

Articles in the email link back to the Weekly Digest Dashboard inside Gorilla Dash, which opens the article directly. Tribes have the same reader, so somebody who deleted the email can still find the content.

Content is used once

AN OUR WORK POST OR REVIEW CAN ONLY EVER APPEAR IN ONE DIGEST
Once a live digest has gone out, everything it contained is marked as used and will never be pulled into another. That keeps the newsletter fresh — and it means a digest sent by mistake burns its content permanently. Use a test send to check, never a live one.
