Renewals and leaving the programme
Keeping vendors for a second year, handling the ones who go, and what happens to their listing.
Last updated September 2, 2026
A vendor programme lives or dies on renewals. A vendor renews when they can point at business the network sent them — which means the renewal conversation starts eleven months before it happens.
Make the case with evidence
- Enquiries their listing generated.
- Announcements and emails sent, and how they performed.
- Endorsements they collected from tribes.
- Tribes now buying from them who were not before.
A vendor with none of that will not renew, and the honest question is whether the inclusions they bought were ever delivered.
When a vendor leaves
- End the membership so no further charges are raised.
- Pause the vendor so the listing comes out of the directory.
- Retire any live offers, so no tribe claims something that no longer exists.
- Leave the record in place — a supplier who lapses often comes back.
DOING ONE AND NOT THE OTHER IS THE COMMON MISTAKE
