Shipping and pick-up points
Rates, free shipping, which countries you ship to, and delivering to collection points instead of addresses.

A branded store either posts things to people or gathers them for collection. Both are supported, and choosing the right one saves a great deal of administration.
Shipping to addresses
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Base rate | What shipping costs. |
| Free shipping price | The order value above which shipping is free. |
| Available shipping countries | Where you will post to. Keep it to where you actually ship. |
| Shipping message | What buyers are told about delivery. The place for your real turnaround. |
Pick-up points
Set only ship to set pick-up points and buyers choose a collection place instead of typing an address — the school office, a depot, a site hut. Each point has a name and an address, and the label on the chooser can be renamed to whatever the client calls them.
For a school or a single-site employer this is nearly always better than posting: one delivery instead of two hundred, no wrong addresses, and no parcels sitting at a depot.
Be honest in the shipping message
Branded goods are produced to order. If a run is made up once a fortnight, say that — buyers plan around a stated date, and chase a vague one.
