Work in progress

How much sold work is open across the network, where it is, and how long it has been sitting.

Last updated September 2, 2026

Work in progress is money you have won and not yet delivered. The report shows the total value open, how many orders that is, and how many tribes are carrying it.

It is a snapshot, not a period

There is no date filter, because the question is "what is open right now". It is always live — nothing here waits for an overnight rebuild.

Reading it

The left table lists tribes with their open order count and value, alongside the advisor responsible. Click one and the right-hand table shows its open orders — customer, contact, sale date, value, and Age (Days).

AGE IS THE COLUMN THAT MATTERS
A large work-in-progress figure is healthy in a busy business. A large figure made of orders sold three months ago is not — it is either work that has stalled or jobs nobody has marked complete. Sort by age and look at the top.

Old open orders distort other reports

A JOB NEVER MARKED COMPLETE STAYS HERE FOREVER
If your tribes do not close orders off in the point of sale, work in progress grows without limit and your completed figures understate what you actually delivered. Both are fixed in the point of sale, not in Gorilla Dash. This report is the quickest way to prove it is happening.

There is no export

Use the Transactions list filtered by status if you need the open orders in a spreadsheet.

A note on historical work in progress

ONLY TODAY'S WORK IN PROGRESS FIGURE IS MEANINGFUL
Where work in progress appears on a chart over time, the historical points are not a record of what was open on those days. Treat only the current value as real, and do not use the trend to argue that open work is rising or falling.
