The Member's View
What members can do themselves
The customer portal: what a logged-in member sees, and the things they will ask you to do for them.
Last updated September 2, 2026
Members can have a login of their own. Once signed in they see their memberships, their recent orders and their payment methods.
What they can see and do
| Area | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Memberships | View only — package, status, amount, schedule, dates, next billing date, joining fee, when they accepted the terms. |
| Payment methods | Add one, make one primary, remove one — grouped by tribe. |
| Orders | View their recent store orders. |
| Account | Change their email address and password. |
What they cannot do
Letting members register
Self-registration is a switch on your organisation. With it off, logins are created for members rather than by them. Either way they verify their email address and can reset their own password.
Seeing what they see
Your team can use View as the customer sees it on the Customer Access screen, which shows the exact same information the member gets. Use it before telling somebody on the phone what should be on their screen.
Members without a login
Plenty never sign in at all. They add their card through the one-time link in their welcome email, and update it through the link in a failed-payment email. Neither needs an account.
