What Generate with AI writes onto an account, how long it takes, and what to check before you rely on it.

The About card on a company can be written for you. Generate with AI researches the business on the open web and writes a short description of what they do — useful before a first call, and far quicker than reading their website yourself.
Running it
- Make sure the company has a website and an accurate name — the research starts from those, and a wrong website researches the wrong business.
- Choose Generate with AI on the About card.
- It runs in the background. The card tells you it is working and fills in when it is done.
It usually takes under a minute. If it says it is taking longer than expected, leave the page and come back — the work carries on without you watching.
Check it before you use it
IT IS A STARTING POINT, NOT A SOURCE OF TRUTH
AI research is assembled from public web pages, which are often out of date, and businesses with common names get confused with each other. Read it before you repeat any of it to the customer, and correct it by hand where it is wrong — the About text is editable like any other field.
What it is good for
- Getting a rep oriented before a first conversation with an unfamiliar account.
- Filling in imported accounts that arrived as a name and a phone number.
- Giving a new starter context on a patch they have inherited.
