Embed a Vimeo video in a knowledge base article

To display a Vimeo video inside a Knowledge Base article, paste Vimeo’s embed code into the article body. You don’t need to add both a plain link and an embedded video.

Choose a link or an embedded video

You can add a link to your Vimeo video or embed the video so it plays inside the article. You don’t need both.

  • Link: Use this to point readers to the video on Vimeo.
  • Embed: Use this to play the video directly within the article.

Embed a Vimeo video

  1. In Vimeo, copy the video’s embed code (the iframe snippet).
  2. In Gorilla Dash, open your Knowledge Base article and paste the embed code into the article body.
  3. Save and publish the article.

Troubleshooting

  • If you only paste the Vimeo URL, it will appear as a link. To show a playable video, use the embed code.
  • If it didn’t work previously, try pasting the embed code again.
