Gorilla Dash

Every franchise lead, worked to a close

You recruit new franchisees and manage the corporate CRM. Gorilla Dash keeps every candidate, conversation and campaign in one pipeline — so nothing leaks between spreadsheets.

What a franchise development manager is accountable for

Franchise development is a sales job with a long cycle and an expensive lead. A candidate arrives from a portal, a broker, a referral or an advertisement, and then takes weeks or months of calls, discovery days, financial checks and legal review before anything is signed. Every one of those steps is a place for the candidate to go quiet — and for the pipeline to lose track of them.

The development manager is measured on signed agreements and on the cost of getting them. Both numbers depend on knowing which sources produce candidates who actually become franchisees, and on no candidate ever being dropped because a follow-up lived in someone’s head. A spreadsheet and an inbox cannot do either at scale.

Gorilla Dash gives development its own corporate CRM inside the platform the rest of the network runs on: every candidate captured with their source, every call recorded against them, every stage and next step visible to you and to leadership, and every dollar of recruitment spend attributed to the agreements it produced.

Sound familiar?

Leads leak between tools

Candidates arrive from portals, ads and referrals and end up scattered across inboxes and spreadsheets. The ones who go quiet are the ones nobody notices.

No attribution on recruitment spend

You can't prove which channels produce franchisees rather than enquiries, so budget conversations run on gut feel and last year's allocation.

The pipeline lives in your head

When everything is manual, handovers and follow-ups depend on memory. A holiday or a resignation costs the network candidates it paid to find.

Leadership asks and you rebuild the report

Every "how is the pipeline looking" from the CEO or the board means an afternoon assembling stages, sources and forecasts from three places.

How Gorilla Dash helps

1

A corporate CRM built for franchise sales

Contacts, companies, opportunities by stage, call lists, follow-ups and activity reports for every candidate in one place — with leadership seeing the same pipeline without asking.

Franchise CRM
2

Lead routing and attribution

Every enquiry from every portal, form and advertisement is captured with its source and routed to the right person immediately, so the first call happens while the candidate is still interested.

Website enquiries
3

Call recording and AI call analysis

Tracked numbers on every recruitment channel and every call recorded against the candidate; with the Agentic CRM add-on, AI summaries capture what was discussed and what was promised.

Call tracking
4

Branded recruitment pages

Publish franchise recruitment pages on your brand domain and feed applicants straight into the pipeline — no re-keying from a form provider.

Recruitment
5

Nurture sequences that keep candidates warm

With the Marketing Automation add-on, email and SMS sequences run between calls — discovery-day invitations, financing information, franchisee stories — with AI reading the replies and flagging the ones who are ready to talk.

Marketing automations
6

ROI per dollar of development spend

See which campaigns, portals and brokers produce candidates that become franchisees — cost per enquiry, per discovery day and per signed agreement, not clicks.

Franchise reporting software
7

Discovery days on the network calendar

Discovery days, webinars and open evenings scheduled on the platform calendar, with invitations sent from the pipeline and attendance recorded against the candidate — so the stage they are at is a fact, not a memory.

Your first quarter on Gorilla Dash

A typical rollout — every network starts with what it already has, so the order and the pace are set with you.

  1. Weeks 1–2

    The pipeline in one place

Existing candidates imported with their stage and source, portals and forms feeding the CRM, and a tracked number on each recruitment channel. Nothing new arrives outside the system.

  2. Month 1

    Every conversation on the record

Calls recorded and summarised against candidates, mailboxes linked, follow-ups scheduled from the record, and the first nurture sequence running between discovery calls.

  3. Quarter 1

    Spend attributed to agreements

A full cycle of candidates from enquiry to signature, so cost per agreement by source is real and next year’s recruitment budget is an argument you can win with numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a separate CRM from the one franchisees use?

It is the same platform with its own corporate scope. Franchise development works its candidates in the head-office CRM; each location works its own customers in theirs. Leadership sees both, and a signed franchisee can be turned into a location without re-keying anything.

Can we keep using our franchise portals and brokers?

Yes. Portal and broker leads arrive by email, form or integration and are captured as enquiries with their source recorded, so every channel is attributed whether or not it has a formal integration. Zapier and the open API cover the rest.

Does it record calls with candidates?

Yes. Tracked numbers on each recruitment channel record inbound calls against the candidate, and the Agentic CRM add-on analyses each one into a summary, an outcome and any follow-up promised. Recording notices and consent follow the rules of the region the number is in.

Can it automate follow-up between discovery calls?

Yes. The Marketing Automation add-on runs email and SMS sequences for candidates at each stage — discovery-day invitations, financing information, franchisee stories — and AI reads the replies, files the routine ones and hands the engaged candidates back to you with a suggested next step.

How does leadership see the pipeline?

From the same CRM, live. The CEO and the board see candidates by stage and source, conversion between stages and cost per agreement without a status meeting or a rebuilt spreadsheet, and the scheduled reports carry the same numbers.

What happens when a candidate signs?

The new location is created from the template — website page, tracked numbers, CRM, training and onboarding — in minutes, and the candidate record becomes the franchisee’s. Operations picks up the onboarding in the same platform development closed the deal in.

Can a broker or external development partner work in the CRM?

Yes. Seats are unlimited, so an external partner can work the pipeline in the same CRM with a role scoped to franchise development, and every call, note and stage change they log stays with the brand when the engagement ends — rather than in the partner’s own spreadsheet.
