Gorilla Dash

An instant overview of operations, every location

You monitor growth, compliance and KPIs, onboard new franchisees and keep the network supported. Gorilla Dash puts operations for every location on one screen.

What a franchise operations manager is accountable for

Operations is where the franchise model is actually delivered. The operations manager onboards every new franchisee and manager, keeps the operating procedures current and followed, answers the field’s questions, manages the suppliers the network buys from, and watches the KPIs that say whether a location is running the system or running its own. In a growing network, every one of those jobs grows with the location count.

The tools are usually an operations manual on a shared drive, an inbox, a spreadsheet of approved suppliers, and an LMS bought for induction and forgotten afterwards. None of them knows which location a question came from, which format a procedure applies to, or whether anyone at a store has actually completed the training that a product launch depended on.

Gorilla Dash gives operations a support desk, a knowledge base and training, a resource library, an organisation chart, targeted communications, an event calendar, a supplier directory and a network store — in the same platform as the location’s leads, sales and reviews, so a ticket arrives with the store’s whole picture and the KPIs sit next to the operational data that explains them.

Sound familiar?

Compliance blind spots

You discover gaps at audit time instead of the moment they appear, because there is no way to see which locations are following the current procedure and which are working from the version they downloaded at induction.

Onboarding is manual

Every new franchisee and manager means the same documents, logins, checklists and training — assembled by hand, and different every time depending on who assembled it.

KPIs scattered across tools

Growth, sales, service and support numbers live in different systems that don't agree, so the operations review is a reconciliation before it is a conversation.

Support runs through an inbox

Franchisees email whoever they know; the same question is answered fifty times; nothing is tracked, and a franchisee who is being ignored has no way to prove it until the conference.

How Gorilla Dash helps

1

Operations dashboards across all locations

Sales, leads, service, reviews and support for every location on one screen, benchmarked against the network and grouped by region or format, so you can spot what works and reproduce it system-wide.

Benchmarking
2

A support desk with measured service

Franchisees raise tickets from where they work; you triage, assign and escalate by rule; response and resolution times are measured against support hours, and the knowledge gaps tickets reveal feed the knowledge base.

Support tickets
3

Knowledge base, courses and assessments

One current version of every procedure, scoped by format and region, with courses assigned by role and location and completion tracked across the network — so a product launch comes with training every store completes.

Knowledge base
4

Onboarding from a template

A new location is created from the template — website page, tracked numbers, CRM, logins, resources, training and calendar — in minutes, and every new hire at every store gets the same induction path.

Resource library
5

Vendor and supplier management

Approved suppliers per region and category with contacts, terms and documents, and a network store where franchisees order uniforms, signage, consumables and collateral on the right terms — so buying correctly is the easy path.

Vendors and suppliers
6

Communications that reach the right stores

Internal emails, weekly digests and network news targeted by location, region and role, with read tracking; training days, launches and deadlines on one calendar scoped to the stores they apply to.

Internal Communications
7

AI-assisted support

Franchisees ask the platform’s assistant and get the current procedure, the right form or the right person, with the answer drawn from your own knowledge base — so the routine questions never become tickets.

Your first quarter on Gorilla Dash

A typical rollout — every network starts with what it already has, so the order and the pace are set with you.

  1. Weeks 1–2

The manual becomes a knowledge base

Procedures imported and scoped by format, the organisation chart live with a who-to-call per function, and the support desk open — every new question now arrives as a ticket against a location.

  2. Month 1

Training and suppliers in the system

Induction courses assigned to every new hire automatically, the approved-supplier directory and network store live, and the first targeted digest sent with read tracking.

  3. Quarter 1

KPIs next to the operational data

A quarter of tickets, training completion, reviews and sales per location in one place — so the operations review shows why a store is behind, not just that it is.

Frequently asked questions

Can procedures apply to some formats and not others?

Yes. Knowledge base articles, resources, training and communications are scoped by format, region and role, so a kiosk procedure reaches kiosks and a regional supplier change reaches that region. There is one current version of each, and publishing a change replaces the old one everywhere at once.

Does it replace our LMS?

For most networks, yes. Courses and assessments are built into the knowledge base, assigned by role and location, and completion is tracked across the network — and because seats are unlimited, the staff who need the training are actually in the system rather than sharing the owner’s login.

How do franchisees get support?

Through the support desk in the same login they use for everything else. Tickets belong to a location, are assigned and escalated by rule, and are measured against support hours so both sides can see response and resolution times. The knowledge base and the AI assistant answer the routine questions before they become tickets.

Can we manage approved suppliers and ordering?

Yes. A supplier directory holds approved vendors per region and category with contacts, terms and documents, and the network store lets franchisees order uniforms, signage, consumables and collateral from head office or approved suppliers, with pricing, allocations and visibility set per location or group.

How does onboarding a new location work?

A location is data, not a project. Creating it from the template gives it a website page, tracked numbers, CRM, logins, resources, training and calendar in minutes, and every new hire at that store follows the same induction path. A departing franchisee’s location is transferred to the incoming owner, not deleted.

Can we see operational KPIs next to sales?

Yes — that is the advantage of operations living in the same platform as the CRM and reporting. Ticket response times, training completion, review scores and lead follow-up sit alongside sales and margin in the benchmarks, so a store that is behind shows where the gap actually is.
