One platform to secure instead of eight
You manage the tech stack, oversee support and handle security and user access. Gorilla Dash collapses the tool pile into one platform with one login and role-based access.
What a franchise CTO is accountable for
The technology leader of a franchise inherits a stack nobody designed. Each department bought the tool that solved its problem — a website builder, a CRM, an email platform, a review tool, an LMS, a helpdesk — and each location did the same on a smaller scale. The result is dozens of contracts, dozens of admin panels, and customer data spread across accounts the brand does not even own.
Against that, the CTO is accountable for security, access, data ownership, integration and cost: who can see what, what happens when a franchisee’s employee leaves, where the customer record lives, how the POS talks to the reporting, and what the whole thing costs per location. Every additional tool multiplies each of those questions by the number of locations.
Gorilla Dash reduces the surface: one platform holding websites, CRM, marketing, communications, support, training, commerce and reporting, with one user directory, role-based permissions scoped by location, an audit trail, documented integrations and an open API — and one invoice.
Sound familiar?
Tool sprawl
Every extra tool is another contract, another login, another vendor security review and another integration to babysit — multiplied by every location that bought its own.
Access management across systems
Onboarding and offboarding means touching half a dozen admin panels, and a franchisee’s departed employee keeps a login somewhere for months.
Support blind spots
Tickets scatter across inboxes and tools, so you can't see what's actually breaking, how long it takes to fix, or which knowledge gap keeps generating the same question.
Data the brand does not own
Customer records sit in accounts franchisees pay for. When one leaves, the data leaves; while they stay, nobody can report across it.
How Gorilla Dash helps
Single login and role-based access
One user directory with head office, region, franchisee and staff roles scoped to their locations, two-factor authentication, and an audit trail across the whole platform. Offboarding is one action, not six.
SecurityTop-level support ticket visibility
Every ticket from every location in one queue, assigned and escalated by rule, with response and resolution times measured against support hours and the knowledge gaps they reveal listed for the knowledge base.
Support ticketsPOS, accounting and CRM integrations
Connectors for POS platforms such as Toast, NCR Aloha, ezCater and CoreBridge, plus Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce and Zapier — with connection health monitored so a stalled feed is flagged, not discovered at month-end.
IntegrationsAn open API and webhooks
A documented REST API with named keys at organisation and location level, webhooks for events, and an updated-after contract on sync endpoints, so your own systems can read and write without scraping.
Open platformOne customer database the brand owns
Customers, leads, history and web presence in one database partitioned by location, so a location transfer is a permission change rather than a migration and the brand never loses a record to a departing account.
Franchise CRMOne consolidated bill and total-cost view
Per-location pricing with unlimited users, one invoice for the network, and add-ons switched on per department — a total-cost view that makes the board conversation easy.
See PricingCommerce on the same stack
Online ordering, branded company stores and recurring memberships run on the same platform and the same customer database, so commerce is not another vendor to integrate, secure and reconcile.
Online StoresYour first quarter on Gorilla Dash
A typical rollout — every network starts with what it already has, so the order and the pace are set with you.
Weeks 1–2
Directory, roles and domains
Organisation, locations and roles mirrored from your structure; users invited with location-scoped permissions; the brand domain and location pages served from the platform with TLS and CDN handled.
Month 1
Integrations connected
POS and accounting feeds live with connection health monitored, existing CRM or marketing tools connected or migrated, and API keys issued for the systems you keep.
Quarter 1
The stack retired
The separate website, CRM, email, review, helpdesk and LMS contracts wound down location by location, with one invoice, one directory and one audit trail in their place.
The questions a CTO asks, and where the answer lives
| You ask | Where to look | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| Who has access to what? | Users and roles | Every user with their role and the locations it covers, and the audit trail of what they changed |
| What is breaking, and how fast are we fixing it? | Support desk | Open tickets by location and category, response and resolution times against support hours |
| Is every location’s POS feed healthy? | Connections | Sync status and last successful run per location, with alerts when a feed stalls |
| Can our own systems read the data? | API keys and webhooks | Named keys per organisation or location, documented endpoints, and webhooks for the events you subscribe to |
| What does the platform cost across the network? | Billing | One invoice, per location, with the add-ons each department has enabled |
| How is the data protected? | Security page | Hosting, encryption, access controls, backups and the practices the platform runs on |
| Which tools can we retire? | Pricing comparison | The separate website, CRM, email, SMS, review, helpdesk and LMS subscriptions the platform replaces, priced per location |

Frequently asked questions
Does it support single sign-on and two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication is available on every account, and role-based permissions are scoped by organisation and location. Single sign-on against your own identity provider is handled per network rather than switched on from a settings page — tell the team which provider you use and what the requirement is, and the security page covers the practices the platform runs on today.
Which systems does it integrate with?
POS and sales-system connectors including Toast, NCR Aloha, ezCater and CoreBridge; Zoho, HubSpot and Salesforce for CRM; Zapier and webhooks for the rest; and an open REST API for anything custom. Several production integrations began as one network asking whether we could connect to theirs.
Can we keep some of our existing tools?
Yes. Networks usually migrate in stages: the platform takes over websites, enquiries and CRM first, then marketing, then the intranet, training and helpdesk. Existing tools stay connected through the integrations until they are retired, and some — a finance system, a specialist POS — stay for good.
Where is the data hosted, and who owns it?
The brand owns its data. It is held in one database partitioned by location, backed up nightly, and available through the API and exports. Hosting, encryption and access practices are set out on the security page, and the team can provide the detail your questionnaire needs.
How does offboarding work when a franchisee’s staff member leaves?
The franchisee or head office deactivates the user once, and every part of the platform they had access to — CRM, marketing, support, training, store — is closed with it. There are no other admin panels to remember.
Is there an audit trail?
Yes. Changes to records across the platform are logged with who made them and when, and support, campaign and access activity are all attributable to a user and a location.
How are the location websites hosted?
On the platform: one managed stack with a shared CDN, TLS on every domain and one patching cycle, instead of a separate CMS install per location to keep secure. A new location page is published from the brand template rather than built, and a retired one is redirected rather than left to 404.
