  • FACE FOUNDRIÉ signs three-unit deal for Seattle expansion
  • Family team brings diverse expertise in franchising and spa
  • Focus on affordability and accessible skincare for community

MINNEAPOLIS, MN. – FACE FOUNDRIÉthe nation’s fastest-growing woman-owned facial bar redefining the skincare industryhas signed a three-unit development deal that will bring the brand to Seattle for the first time. The deal is led by sisters Amani Gomez and Mona Askalani and their husbands, Alex Gomez and Faisal Khan, who will serve as the brand’s area developers for the region. The group is specifically targeting the Eastside, with their first location anticipated to open in fall 2026.

Together, the family brings a wealth of experience across the franchising, salon and spa industries:

  • Amani Gomez – a marketing leader with an MBA and deep retail expertise through roles at General Mills, Best Buy, and Kimberly-Clark. She and her husband are also seasoned multi-unit franchisees as the owners of three Just Poke restaurants and two The Learning Experience centers in Seattle.
  • Alex Gomez – an international sales executive with a long career, including the global spa-equipment industry, where he witnessed firsthand the explosive growth of beauty and wellness concepts.
  • Mona Askalani – a 25-year veteran of advertising, marketing, and franchising, with a focus in the beauty, CPG, and hospitality industries. She previously spent eight years at Regis Corporation supporting major franchises and salon brands.
  • Faisal Khan – a technology consultant and program manager who has overseen major software implementations, including consulting work for Regis.

With Amani and Alex’s background as multi-unit franchisees, their addition to the system also reflects a broader trend the brand is seeing: strong interest from established multi-unit operators who view FACE FOUNDRIÉ as an attractive, scalable addition to their portfolios.

“Each business Alex and I invest in is rooted in caring for people,” said Amani. “Healthy food, trusted childcare, and now accessible skincare all serve that purpose. Coupled with Mona and Faisal’s backgrounds in the salon industry, FACE FOUNDRIÉ is exactly the right concept for us to introduce to Seattle.”

After 15 years in the region, Amani and Alex have watched the city evolve as major employers like Microsoft, Amazon and Google draw young professionals with both disposable income and an interest in self-care, as well as busy parents looking for efficient, trustworthy wellness options. While Seattle is home to several beauty and spa concepts, the family believes FACE FOUNDRIÉ will fill a gap for a facial-driven experience that is accessible, high-quality, and perfectly tailored to the city’s fast-paced, wellness driven community.

“In this virtual meeting era, your face and skin are now more important than ever as you engage with the world from your computer screen,” said Mona. “FACE FOUNDRIÉ brings both accessible and affordable skincare options. Our estheticians don’t just perform treatments; they invest in clients, following each person’s journey, celebrating progress, and helping to restore confidence.”

Each FACE FOUNDRIÉ location is thoughtfully designed with top-of-the-line esthetic beds, curated playlists, and custom elements tailored to the community. Built around the principles of being approachable, affordable, accessible, efficient and effective, FACE FOUNDRIÉ’s wide range of cutting-edge services allow clients to be in and out in just 40 minutes, while also offering numerous enhancements and customizable options for those looking to boost their results even further.

“We’re thrilled to welcome this powerhouse family to the FACE FOUNDRIÉ system,” said Michele Henry, Founder and CEO of FACE FOUNDRIÉ. “Amani, Alex, Mona and Faisal bring exceptional leadership, a shared passion for community, and deep operational experience in the salon industry. Their commitment to our mission, coupled with their backgrounds, makes them the perfect partners to introduce FACE FOUNDRIÉ to Seattle.”

FACE FOUNDRIÉ was founded in 2019 by Michele Henry after she struggled to find skincare treatments that addressed the changes in her skin caused by motherhood, aging, and life’s demands. The brand is currently seeking growth-minded single and multi-unit owner-operators to join its nationwide expansion. While skincare experience is not required, transferable business skills and entrepreneurial experience are preferred.
