FASTSIGNS®, a national leader in signage, graphics and visual communications, has again been recognized as a Top Franchise for Veterans by Franchise Business Review. The distinction marks the brand’s sixth consecutive year on the list, which evaluates franchise systems based on direct feedback from more than 2,100 franchise owners across 365 brands. The consistent inclusion of FASTSIGNS reflects not only the strength of its business model but also its long-standing commitment to helping veterans transition into entrepreneurship.
The company attributes its success among veterans to a structured support framework and a culture that values leadership ability and operational discipline. Mark Jameson, chief development officer of Propelled Brands, noted that many veterans possess the core traits that drive strong franchise performance. He said that FASTSIGNS takes pride in providing the resources, mentorship and training that former service members need as they shift from military service to business ownership.
Survey findings from FASTSIGNS franchisees demonstrate the appeal of the brand for veterans seeking autonomy and personal fulfillment. Ninety-one percent of franchisees reported that they enjoy running their business, and 95 percent indicated they would recommend the franchise to fellow veterans. Jody Lamb, a U.S. Army veteran and FASTSIGNS franchisee, explained that joining the brand helped him build a career that aligned with both his professional ambitions and his desire for a balanced personal life.
Today, the FASTSIGNS network includes more than 785 locations, and nearly one in ten of its franchisees have military backgrounds. The company also participates in VetFran, a program that offers benefits such as a 50 percent reduction in the initial franchise fee and reduced first-year royalties for qualified veterans and first responders. As the franchise sector continues to pursue veteran recruitment, FASTSIGNS stands out as a brand that not only welcomes former service members but builds systems that help them succeed in business ownership.
