The smash burger concept from Arcade London has landed in Marylebone with a walk-in-only site and two dessert exclusives.

  • Manna Burgers opens its first standalone UK restaurant in Marylebone.
  • The site offers exclusive dishes including The Trifle and Cola Float.
  • The Marylebone location follows Manna's expansion into Dubai.

Manna Burgers, the smash burger concept from Feroz Gajia and Arcade London, has opened its first standalone restaurant in the United Kingdom at 54 James Street in Marylebone. The 46-cover site, which takes over a space previously occupied by another burger operator, launched on September 4, 2026, following the brand's recent opening within Arcade's Covent Garden food hall.

The Marylebone restaurant serves Manna's full burger menu, including the Double Manna and Classic Smash, alongside The Hot One, a spicier variation finished with jalapeños and chili cheese. Sides include waffle fries and Nashville Hot Tenders, while the Manna Platter combines a choice of burger with tenders, fries, sauces and pickles. As with Manna's existing sites, the Marylebone location takes no reservations, keeping the walk-in format that has defined the brand since its earliest days.

Two new offerings debut exclusively at Marylebone: The Trifle and the Cola Float. The Trifle is a single-serving dessert layered with strawberry milk-soaked sponge, fruit jelly, Bird's Custard, whipped cream, sprinkles and a cherry. The Cola Float comes in three flavors, a Classic version with vanilla ice cream and cola, a Chocolate version finished with Manna's own chocolate sauce, and a Cherry version made with cherry cola syrup.

Manna is the creation of chef and food writer Feroz Gajia, also known for his restaurant Bake Street, developed through Arcade's in-house incubator, Arcade Create. The concept was first tested at Arcade's Tottenham Court Road food hall before expanding into Battersea Power Station and, most recently, Covent Garden. Gajia has described the Marylebone restaurant as the brand's first venue built to match the atmosphere to the food itself, with a design intended to evoke the futurism of 1980s and 1990s American diner culture.

Manna opened its first international location in Dubai's Alserkal Avenue in 2025, marking both the brand's debut outside the UK and Arcade's first venture beyond British borders. The Marylebone opening now extends that growth back home, giving the brand its first fully independent UK address after several years operating exclusively within Arcade's food halls.

The project was designed by Red Deer Architects, which also led the design of Arcade's Covent Garden restaurant when it opened in May 2026. Capturing design-driven openings and new dishes like these, across multiple sites and markets, means managing a growing amount of visual content. Gorilla Dash offers a Media Library feature designed to help growing restaurant brands organize photos and video of new locations and menu items in one place as their footprint expands.

The Marylebone opening adds to a growing footprint for Manna Burgers, positioning the brand for further competition in London's crowded smash burger market as it builds on its Covent Garden and Dubai locations.
