Del Taco has introduced a new limited-time menu built around Flamin' Hot® flavored Queso, a collaboration that blends the chain's creamy queso blanco with the seasoning of Cheetos Flamin' Hot. The lineup is available now at participating locations through November 18.
The new queso appears across several menu items, including the Flamin' Hot Queso Beef Roller, Flamin' Hot Queso Crispy Chicken Burrito and Flamin' Hot Queso Crinkle Cut Fries. The Flamin' Hot Queso Loaded Nachos round out the lineup, layering house-made tortilla chips with a choice of seasoned beef, grilled chicken or carne asada steak, slow-cooked beans, the new queso, sour cream, diced tomatoes and sliced jalapeños. Select items also come with a 2-ounce bag of Cheetos Flamin' Hot Crunchy Cheese Flavored Snacks.
Noah Chillingworth, Chief Marketing Officer at Del Taco, said the new queso adds a distinct flavor and signature heat to some of the brand's most popular items, and that the best collaborations create something new while staying true to what guests already love. Ulyses Camacho, Chief Transformation Officer at Del Taco, said pairing two well-known brands produces menu items that are hard to ignore, calling the launch a meaningful step forward in the company's broader innovation pipeline.
Del Taco, the country's second-largest Mexican quick-service brand and a subsidiary of Jack in the Box Inc., has leaned into limited-time collaborations as a way to keep its core menu feeling fresh without straying from what guests already order regularly.
Launching a bold, visually distinctive item like a bright red queso across a national footprint means every location needs the same clear photography and marketing materials to represent it accurately, whether that's for in-store signage, delivery apps or social media. Gorilla Dash offers a Media Library feature designed to help restaurant brands organize and distribute consistent visual assets across every location, supporting campaigns like this one as they roll out system-wide.
