Urban Air Adventure Park has confirmed plans to expand in Ohio with a new location in Middleburg Heights. The company finalized a lease for a 39,000-square-foot facility that is scheduled to open in late 2026. The move signals the brand’s steady growth in the family entertainment sector and highlights its confidence in the suburban market.
The new park will feature a wide selection of attractions, including climbing walls, zip lines, obstacle courses, and interactive play zones designed to engage both children and adults. With operations planned seven days a week, the facility aims to provide a consistent and safe destination for families seeking active recreation close to home.
Tim Sharp, brand president of Urban Air, described the expansion as more than just an investment in square footage. “Our goal remains the same: to create an environment where families can bond and make lasting memories,” he said. The Middleburg Heights project, he added, will bring accessible adventure to a growing community.
The park is also expected to play a role in the local economy. Once complete, it will employ approximately 65 people, offering a range of positions from entry-level to management. Hiring is expected to begin in the months leading up to the opening.
Urban Air, which is part of Unleashed Brands, has established itself as a leader in the indoor adventure space. Its strong placement on Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 list reflects the company’s appeal to franchisees and its consistent performance in a competitive market.
The Middleburg Heights expansion underscores a broader trend among experiential franchises, which continue to thrive by offering activities that blend physical engagement with social connection. For local families, it promises not only a place to play but also a venue that can contribute to the community’s vibrancy and growth.
