Each January, franchise owners from across the UK gather for Molly Maid’s annual R&R Weekend, a conference designed not simply to review numbers but to strengthen the network behind them. The event has become a defining moment in the brand’s calendar, offering space for reflection, collaboration and renewed focus. This year’s theme, “Power up your Profit,” reflected a period of sustained momentum and encouraged owners to think carefully about how disciplined strategy and shared learning drive long-term growth.
The results provided ample reason for celebration. The network recorded back-to-back years of more than 8% growth, with 43% of franchisees achieving record weekly sales in 2025. Total system revenue surpassed £28 million, underscoring the resilience of the home-cleaning sector amid broader economic uncertainty. Among the most notable milestones was the achievement of Rob and Gill Dawson of Molly Maid Burton Upon Trent & Derby, who reached £1 million in annual net sales after eight years of ownership, a benchmark that speaks to both consistency and operational strength.
Yet the conference focused on more than financial performance. A highlight session, styled as a personal retrospective, placed franchisee stories at the centre of the programme. Owners shared candid accounts of the decisions, systems and mindset shifts that enabled them to grow. These narratives reinforced a central message that profitability depends not only on revenue targets but on refining processes, developing leadership skills and leaning into the support structure of the wider network.
Connection remains a cornerstone of the Molly Maid model. Informal gatherings, including a themed casino evening, allowed franchisees to build relationships that extend beyond the conference hall. The event concluded with a gala dinner recognising achievements in sales growth and operational excellence, celebrating the community's collective progress. For prospective franchisees, the R&R Weekend offers a clear illustration of a culture built on collaboration, accountability and sustained performance, demonstrating how shared experience can translate into measurable success.
