Metal Supermarkets recently gathered more than 140 franchisees and corporate staff from across North America and the United Kingdom for its 2025 Franchisee Conference in Hollywood Beach, Florida. The three-day event, themed “Building on Strength. Executing for Growth!”, served as both a celebration of success and a strategic touchpoint for future development across the growing network.
Ryan Pryznyk, President and Chief Executive Officer of Metal Supermarkets, opened the conference with remarks on the brand’s continued expansion and operational strength. He commended franchise owners for their resilience and innovation throughout the fiscal year, emphasizing that their collective performance has been a key driver of the company’s 40-year legacy in metal distribution.
The highlight of the event was the annual awards ceremony, which recognized franchisees who demonstrated excellence in leadership, customer service, and safety. Matthew White received the Bill Mair Franchisee of the Year Award for his outstanding multi-unit operations in Canada. Denette Gallman and Greg Gallman of Charleston earned the Customer Service Award for the second consecutive year, maintaining an impressive 96 percent Net Promoter Score. Jason Frank was named Rookie of the Year after launching two successful stores within his first two years of ownership.
Recognition also went to Virag Patel of Rockford, Illinois, who received the Sales Growth Award for achieving notable revenue gains, and Chris Hare of Toronto, who was honored with the Safety Leadership Award for maintaining exceptional standards across his eight locations. Each award underscored the company’s focus on fostering franchisees who lead through quality, consistency, and a strong sense of community.
Beyond the accolades, the conference featured workshops, roundtable discussions, and networking sessions designed to strengthen collaboration among franchisees. These sessions provided practical tools for driving growth and maintaining operational excellence, reinforcing Metal Supermarkets’ commitment to helping its network succeed in a competitive market.
For many in attendance, the event was both a recognition of hard work and a reminder of shared purpose. By spotlighting franchise achievements and outlining a clear path forward, Metal Supermarkets continues to build a culture rooted in performance, partnership, and long-term growth.
