JETSET Pilates is marking its fifteenth anniversary with the opening of its first global headquarters in Miami’s Wynwood district, a neighborhood known for its creative energy and rapid redevelopment. The new facility spans more than six thousand square feet and was designed by architect Kobi Karp, whose contemporary work is visible throughout the city. The space brings together the company’s previously dispersed functions and signals a more unified phase of growth for the boutique Pilates brand.
The headquarters serves as both an operational center and a training studio. Its lobby functions as an educational space, and the layout encourages collaboration among staff, instructors, and visiting franchise partners. “Miami is the heart of JETSET,” said Bert Albertse, the company’s chief executive. He noted that establishing a permanent home within the city reinforces the brand’s identity and strengthens its connection to the community where it first took shape.
At the center of the new facility is the JETSET Training Academy, which now includes sixteen reformers and expanded resources for instructor development. The academy aims to combine technical rigor with a more intuitive approach to movement, a balance that the company considers essential to the JETSET method. Tamara Galinsky, founder of JETSET Pilates, described the training experience as both a discipline and an artistic practice. She said that each instructor is expected to leave with a deep understanding of the method and a strong sense of creative responsibility.
The company plans to extend its training infrastructure beyond Miami, beginning with a regional center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that is expected to open in the second half of 2026. JETSET has already trained more than five hundred instructors through its programs, and it continues to hold monthly workshops to maintain consistency across its franchise network. The new headquarters reflects the company’s broader strategy to strengthen education, support franchisees, and build a more connected global community of instructors.
