CC’s Coffee House has opened its first drive-thru-only location in Gonzales, marking a notable shift in the Louisiana coffee chain’s expansion strategy. The new store, located near a major highway corridor, is designed to serve commuters, students, and residents seeking a faster coffee stop without leaving their vehicles.
The location began serving customers on August 8 and will host a grand opening celebration from August 10 through August 13, with morning giveaways that include coffee bags and branded merchandise. The format reflects a growing preference for convenience-driven food and beverage experiences, particularly in suburban and commuter-heavy markets.
CC’s Coffee, founded in 1995, has built its reputation on handcrafted beverages and locally rooted hospitality. Signature drinks such as the Mochasippi® and Espresso No. 22® remain central to the brand’s menu, while the new Gonzales store emphasizes speed and accessibility as much as product quality.
Jessica Andrus, the company’s marketing campaign manager, said the drive-thru-only model is a response to changing customer routines and the increasing demand for quick service. Chief Executive Officer Celton Hayden Jr. said the expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to remaining a family-oriented Louisiana brand while modernizing how it reaches customers.
For franchise systems adopting new operating formats, maintaining consistent procedures becomes increasingly important. Through Gorilla Dash, teams can use the Knowledge Base feature to keep training materials, service standards, and operational updates organized across multiple locations during expansion.
The Gonzales opening represents more than a new coffee shop. It signals how regional brands are adapting to a convenience-first marketplace, where speed, accessibility, and operational coordination are becoming as important as the coffee itself.
