WellBiz Brands has appointed John Thuringer as vice president of franchise growth, adding a seasoned franchise development executive to its leadership team as the wellness franchisor continues to expand. In his new role, Thuringer will lead franchise recruitment efforts, cultivate development opportunities and help strengthen the company's presence in new and existing markets.
Thuringer brings nearly two decades of franchise development experience, most recently serving in leadership roles at Purpose Brands. During his 17-year tenure, he played a key role in expanding brands including Anytime Fitness and Waxing the City, contributing to the sale of more than 800 franchise licenses and supporting the company's long-term growth strategy.
Chief Executive Officer Amanda Clark said Thuringer's experience in scaling franchise brands and building development pipelines makes him well suited to support WellBiz Brands' next phase of growth. Thuringer said he is excited to join the organization at a pivotal time and looks forward to working with the team to expand its portfolio and attract new franchise owners.
