Jonathan Chitambar, a U.S. Marine veteran and accomplished finance professional, has launched a new The Brothers That Just Do Gutters franchise in Fairfield–Stockton, California. The expansion brings the brand’s mission of “Reinventing Contractor Service” to the region, delivering precision workmanship and transparent communication to local homeowners.
Chitambar’s path to franchise ownership was shaped by resilience and determination. After serving in the Marines, he navigated a startup failure that left him nearly homeless, yet secured admission to NYU Stern through persistence and outreach. His career in global investment management for the Government of Singapore honed his leadership skills, but he ultimately sought a business model that aligned with his values of stewardship and service.
“Ownership isn’t just about profit — it’s about stewardship,” Chitambar said. “Our focus is on building trust with homeowners and delivering solutions they can depend on.”
The Fairfield–Stockton location offers a full range of gutter services, including cleaning, installation, guards, and fascia board restoration. Plans are already in place to expand offerings to under-deck systems and solar panel cleaning, further enhancing the brand’s value proposition in the home services sector.
With his military discipline, financial acumen, and a people-first approach, Chitambar aims to raise the bar for contractors in the region. His launch not only creates a new standard for gutter services but also reinforces the role of veteran-led entrepreneurship in strengthening local communities.
