Snap-on Tools has achieved a record-breaking milestone in its 2025 “Socket to Breast Cancer” campaign, raising more than $303,000 for the McGrath Foundation. The achievement surpasses the company’s goal of $250,000 and brings its two-year fundraising total to over $515,000. The initiative has become one of the most successful examples of community-driven philanthropy in the franchising sector, combining product innovation with a deep sense of purpose.
The campaign centered on a limited-edition pink tool range that quickly became a symbol of solidarity across Snap-on’s network of franchisees and customers. From workshops to racing tracks, the pink tools represented more than just equipment—they carried the message of awareness and hope. Adding to the campaign’s visibility, three-time top fuel champion and Snap-on ambassador Phil Read showcased a striking pink and black dragster, using his platform in motorsport to amplify the cause. “Everyone knows someone touched by breast cancer,” Read said. “I’m proud to stand with Snap-on and the McGrath Foundation to help make a difference.”
Adam Wright, national marketing and product manager for Snap-on Tools Australia and New Zealand, described the outcome as a testament to the network’s collective spirit. “We’ve been blown away by the continued support for Socket to Breast Cancer,” he said. “Our franchisees and customers have helped us raise more than half a million dollars in just two years. It’s a true reflection of generosity and the strength of our community.”
The partnership between Snap-on Tools and the McGrath Foundation highlights how franchise systems can use their scale to generate social impact. By transforming everyday tools into symbols of purpose, Snap-on has redefined how commercial brands engage with cause-driven initiatives. The result is more than a fundraising total—it is a reminder that when business and community align, meaningful change follows.
